The Cable Fabricator position at EZ Form Cable entails manufacturing coaxial cable in various lengths using mechanical draw down stations and associated test equipment. This will also include the use of soldering irons, various hand tools, including cutters, pliers and rotary forming tools. The majority of the workday will be spent on your feet standing and walking.
Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
Skill Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Critical thinking skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly
- Able to read dial calipers, micrometers and rulers
- Ability to read and understand basic measurements in both customary and metric
- Ability to learn techniques, approaches, guidelines, policies and procedures related to one's job area
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience as cable manufacturer or production assembler strongly preferred
