What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/waitstaff position at Trezevant Episcopal Home?
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Are you tired of the rat race of working in a restaraunt and not being apprciated? Come and work for us at Trezevant and provide excellent cutomer service to our residents. We are a gated and safe community where you can enjoy coming to work. The server is not only responsible for waiting tables but for creating relationships with our residents. We serve an elderly population who live in different area's of the campus. We have positions available in the Independent living, the Nursing Home and Assisted Living area's. We have serving positions in Trezevant Manor, Trezevant Terrace Assisted Living and Allen Morgan Health Care. You really must appreciate and love working with the Senior population and have respect and a courteous attitude. Sometimes, you are the Bright Spot in their day. COME WORK FOR US!
PRIMARY DUTIES
1. Greet and seat residents in dining Room; explain the menu and answer any questions pertaining to menu and food preparation; take meal request in a professional and courteous manner;
2. Prepare and maintain dining area in a clean manner following all safety standards by Tennessee Department of Food and Safety;
3. Deliver meals to resident rooms as requested as well as any other tasks given by Dining Room Supervisor; Make sure all meal plates are in accordance to residents proper diet specification;
4. Must be willing to substitute in other dining / kitchen areas as requested by manager;
5. Must help with set up and break down of dining areas;
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be 16 years or older.
2. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
3. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
