We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves working with students across various age groups, including preschool and private school settings, with a focus on curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to meet diverse learning needs.

JOB DETAILS:

• JOB TITLE: Mod/Sev Teacher (SDC)

• Fulltime/Parttime: Fulltime, In person
• Location: Pacifica, CA 94044
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 8:00 - 4:00 (40 Hours per week)
• Caseload: 6 Students with intensive needs
• Age Group: Middle School
• Required Certification or Credential: Valid CA Credentials
• Support: Supported by 2 paras and a full-time behaviorist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the individual needs of students.
• Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to support their academic growth in subjects such as Math and Literacy education.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive atmosphere for all students, including those requiring special education services.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children in daycare settings.

Experience

• A degree in Education or a related field is preferred, along with relevant teaching certifications.
• Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is highly desirable.
• practices and behavior management techniques is advantageous.
• Previous experience working in private schools or daycare settings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff members.
