Tri-Area Community Health (https : / / triareahealth.org / ) is a Federally Qualified Health Center with locations in Ferrum, Floyd, Laurel Fork, Troutdale, Cana, and Fries, VA. We are currently seeking a front office assistant to work primarily in our Floyd clinic. This full-time position requires a high school diploma and one year of receptionist experience is preferred. The applicant should be reliable, as well as possess basic knowledge of medical terminology, proficient typing skills, and basic computer literacy, interpersonal and communication skills. Some lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping will be involved. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision, and have excellent customer service skills.E / O / E
