What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Care Specialist position at Tri Boro Credit Union?
**About the Role:**
The Property Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Third-Party Vendor Management: The successful candidate will manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Facilities Cleaning and Maintenance: Daily tasks will include keeping the property grounds, office lobbies, kitchen, and bathroom's cleaned, floors mopped, garbage cans emptied, and stocking of supplies related and assigned.
- Landscaping and Groundskeeping: Property maintenance includes landscape such as grass cutting, mulching, tree/scrubs/flower trimming and planting, cleaning garbage and debris, and basic snow shoveling & salting as needed and assigned.
- Repair and Maintenance: Light Bulb replacements as needed at all branch locations and general repairs - painting, plumbing, electrical, asphalt/concrete, landscape work, window cleaning, etc.
- Supply Chain Management: Maintain all areas of supply ordering, inventories, and stocking.
Requirements:
- Background: Requires 2-5 years of prior related experience.
- Knowledge: General knowledge in facilities management and maintenance to include areas of property Landscape, Plumbing, Electrical, Furnace & Air Conditioning, Asphalt and Concrete maintenance and general repairs.
- Physical Ability: Requires physical labor - moderate to heavy lifting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing ladders, no fear of heights indoors and outdoors in varying internal and external weather conditions.
- Certifications: Must pass related background checks with no criminal records and may be required to pass an illegal Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Licenses: Valid Unexpired Driver's License for driving personal and credit union owned vehicles to work in all assigned locations.
- Professional Standards: Professional appearance required with No Visible tattoo's, facial or tongue piercings.
