What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at TRI-BORO RACK & STORAGE PRODUCTS?
Summary: Mange finished goods and work in progress (wip). Process Customer Orders for on time shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:
Other duties may be assigned.
1) Retrieve Work Orders from Customer Service. Update Calendar for shipments with CS.
2) Review Work orders for order requirements and quantities against existing inventory. Make copies of orders for product that requires manufacturing. Distribute copies to production departments.
3) Collaborate components required for shipment with Department Leaders and other Operational Departments to ensure product requirements are completed to package to meet OTD.
4) Pull/stage product, count and package product for shipment. UPS, LTL, and Customer Pick-up.
5) Must be able to assure quality and quantity of orders are correct before signing off and shipping. Responsible for validating BOL’s for trucks being loaded
6) Create load diagrams for shipments.
7) Load outbound freight for shipments. Unload inbound freight, verify product & quantity. Sign & Turn BOL in to Front Office.
8) Package product in correct box, wrap, bundle, and skid to eliminate product damage.
9) Collaborate priorities of Shipments with Operations, Customer Service.
10) Manage inventories of finished goods and stage in warehouse.
11) Manage accessory components and any materials required for manufacturing. IE: Manage and order paint, fasteners, wire decks, wood……..etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
