Job Description : SUMMARY
Responsible for nurturingpositive and rewarding relationships with the Tri-C Foundation's major donors. Responsiblefor the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship ofindividual major and planned giving prospects with the capacity to give at orabove $50,000. Strategically focused on building a strong base of individualdonors to support the ambitious growth of the organization. Must have a solidunderstanding and demonstrated success in securing estate gifts and the abilityto lead a planned giving program.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the active portfolio of prospects and the development of cultivation and solicitation strategies that align with the Tri-C Foundation's priorities and prospect interests
- Conducts regular prospect visits to develop and maintain the relationship and to secure major and planned gifts
- Responsible for identifying new individual and planned giving prospects for Cuyahoga Community College Foundation
- Oversees the stewardship of high-quality donor experience through correspondence, donor engagement, professional proposals, and acknowledgments
- Develops and implements a comprehensive planned giving program for prospective and current donors
- Serves as a gift planning resource, including training and supporting team members on deferred and planned gifts such as trusts, charitable annuities, life insurance, real estate, wills. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of best practices
- Supports Vice President of Development and Executive Director with implementation of Foundation Board strategy including preparation for full board, committee and ad hoc meetings
- Collaborates with Tri-C Foundation Directors, Vice President of Development, and College leadership team to design and implement a strategic development program including innovative, unique, and personalized outreach and experiences
- Serves as a Tri-C Foundation representative at external functions and events
- Performs other duties as assigned

Special Note : Target Starting Salary Range : $85,313 to $89,688
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications in relation to the minimum and / or preferred job requirement(s).
