SUMMARY
Responsible for creating andmaintaining the visual communications of the department and the College acrossprint, interactive and broadcast media.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Creates and implements the College's visual brand with creativity and appropriateness for a variety of media (including print, outdoor, interactive and broadcast) and target audiencesConsults with clients to evaluate individual project needs in collaboration with Creative Director and Project ManagerPrioritizes workload of multiple projects to meet deadlines, tracks project progress using project management software and other tracking tools and maintains files for accessibilityPerforms quality checks of final designs / proofs to ensure accuracy of content and designMaintains and updates internal style guides to ensure consistency and relevance of the College's brand; provides training inside and outside the department on use of the brandPerforms other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts or related fieldSignificant related experience may substitute for education
Minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in visual designDemonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or teamDemonstrated experience requiring diverse problem solving methods in a variety of situationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Target Starting Salary Range : $55,000 to $59,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications in relation to the minimum and / or preferred job requirement(s).
