What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor position at TRI-CAP?

This position is responsible for the following at both the Jasper and Petersburg locations :

Coordinating daily operations in accordance with Indiana State Licensing Requirements, Paths to Quality rating system, and Head Start Program Performance Standards,
Supervising education staff,
Overseeing the completion of required paperwork for volunteers and maintains files,
Working collaboratively with Education Manager to integrate current theory and best practices into the children's program, and
Working directly with members of the management team on program planning and decision-making processes.

Requirements

Qualified applicants :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or a related field with early education teaching experience.

Experience in supervision of staff preferred.

Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Ability to compose reports and business correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information.

Cooperate successfully as a member of a team.

Possess good organizational skills, with sensitivity to details.

Have knowledge of computer operations, and possess skills preferably with MS Office.
