Nursing Home construction management company is looking to hire talented individuals to jion our growing team.
Candidates must be highly skilled with the following:
Plumbing
Electric
Painting/Spackling
Tiling
Able to read engeering plans
Job Responsibilities:
1. Painting, flooring, wall papering, framing, plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs.
2. Performs emergency mechanical repairs.
3. Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
4. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
5. Attend in-service educational programs and be knowledgeable of facility’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures regarding cleaning and infection control
6. Practices the highest level of customer service in dealing with all internal and external customers and peers.
7. Assists in emergency procedures ie, code E, fire, disaster, and general health care emergencies. as directed.
8. Follows code of conduct and ensures resident privacy and is compliant with HIPAA.
9. Will perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
1. Drivers License
2. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
3. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
4. Physical/Mental Demands: Walk long distances, and remain on her / his feet for long durations of time. Bend, squat, push, pull, reach, stretch and lift up to 50lbs. Speak, read and understand English. Hear the spoken word. Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals with use of appropriate equipment.
