Who are we?
Our community health center began as a modest sized medical clinic in Pasco, Washington in 1981. The clinic was founded by a small group of women in the Pasco community who saw the need to serve low income community members who could not afford to pay for Healthcare.
Tri-Cities Community Health has grown into a comprehensive non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) where we have evolved into a network of community health centers that continue with the foundation TCCH was built on and serve an even more diverse population in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas.
Description:
Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager assist with purchase order requisitioning, receiving and delivery of goods and services.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
800 W. Court Street Pasco, WA
Wage: $20.32 - $26.29 per hour DOE
Essential Functions:
- Under supervision of Purchasing Manager, signs for, unloads and inspects for damage of shipments. Verifies accuracy of shipment by comparing items received with receiving copies of purchase orders and shippers packing slip. Upon receipt of Direct Orders obtains department signature and forwards completed paperwork to Accounts Payable daily
- Enters receipts of goods into "Receivers Daily Report" with comments and pertinent information. Initiates orders for inventory items with Purchasing Manager. Resolves problems resulting from back ordered items
- Fills and delivers supplies to appropriate departments and maintains them
- Answers inquiries regarding purchase order status from order departments
- Assists in maintaining daily and periodic inventories
- Assists in purchasing medical supplies used throughout TCCH clinics
- Maintains storage area in orderly manner as directed
- Performs related clerical duties
- Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety and department safety expectation
- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department’s/unit’s ability to meet its goals and objectives
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
- Carries out all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
Minimum Work Experience: One year.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Excellent Driving Record/Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills; excellent computer skills. Ability to drive in all weather conditions
