Description
Under the general direction of the Director of HR , the HR Generalist performs duties at the professional level in the functional areas of recruitment and staffing, training, onboarding, performance management, complex and confidential tasks supporting the operation of the HR Department. This position provides guidance on labor relations, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, and works collaboratively with managers across the organization.
Responsibilities :
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
Location : Pasco, WA
FLSA : Non-exempt
Hourly rate : $28.85 - $35.80
Requirements
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
Experience : 3 years in formal Human Resources experience. Prefer experience in any of the following areas : benefits and leave administration, employee and labor relations, workers comp, OSHA regulations and compliance, and EEO and ADA.
License / Certification : Current driver's license and auto insurance required. Professional certification SHRM CP or PHR preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Skilled delivering training and public speaking. Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to be flexible in times of change and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion required. Proficiency with MS Office products required. Ability to navigate HRIS software. Commitment to providing excellent customer service and support.
