Director

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our team in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and experience working with students, particularly in early childhood settings. This role is pivotal in shaping the educational experiences of children and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
• Establish effective communication with parents, staff, and the community to promote the center's mission.
• Monitor children's progress and implement strategies to support their growth and development.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the center.
• Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with parents, staff, and community members.
• Knowledge of current trends in early childhood education and best practices.
• Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for children and families.
• Previous experience in higher education teaching or administration is a plus.
• 18 months in one of these roles: assistant director, teacher, family childcare primary caregiver in a licensed childcare environment
