What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary DLC Teacher position at Tri City Elementary?
South Umpqua School District has an opening at Tri City Elementary for a Develeopmental Learnning Center Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year.
Douglas County is located in Southern Oregon along the I-5 corridor. Our School District consists of 5 schools serving students from the communities of Canyonville, Myrtle Creek, and Tri-City.
Duties/Assignment:
Provides academic and behavior services to students in grades K-5 who are moderate to severely impaired
Qualifications:
- Applicant must hold or qualify for an Oregon Teaching Certificate, with subject area endorsement.
- Criminal history clearance.
This is a full-time benefited position. Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; employer-paid PERS, as well as a tuition reimbursement program.
Full time special educations teachers receive an annual stipend for IEP meetings and planning beyond the normal work day. Stipend amount is based on years of experience.
