Summary: The Auto Glass Production Supervisor oversees the activities of installation and administrative staff within the Auto Glass Department. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, assigning tasks, ensuring team training, and maintaining operational excellence while delivering outstanding customer service.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage work schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priorities, workload, and personnel skills.
- Monitor work areas to ensure safe and organized environment.
- Supervise and evaluate employee performance, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Assist customers by providing excellent customer service, preparing quotes, scheduling, and completing orders as received. Treating them with respect and giving attention to their concerns.
- Order and return parts as needed
- Ensure all interactions reflect respect, attentiveness, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Coordinate periodic maintenance of department vehicles.
- Address installation concerns with the customer before the installation has begun.
- Understand and address customer needs as they arise.
- Remedy any concerns of the customer once the installation is complete.
- Promote adherence to safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Take on other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in the auto glass field, preferred
Work Environment
The Auto Glass Production Supervisor operates in a combination of office, shop, and warehouse environments, with occasional visits to business account locations.
