Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including managing the parts room staff and inventory. This role ensure efficient storage, organization, and distribution of materials.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage, lead, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure accuracy, proper storage and timely replenishment.
- Receive in inventory, including checking for damaged material, ensuring all items meet quality standards and accuracy of order.
- Report any discrepancies or physical damage.
- Receive incoming material, stored in proper location in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct or arrange for staff training in operational procedures and equipment use
- Enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment. Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
- Plan and coordinate staffing needs to meet workload requirements for scheduled company hours.
- Recommend process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Act as primary point of contact for issues related to the warehouse or parts room.
- Coordinate inventory purchases with Purchasing Department.
- Required to wear and use personal protective equipment per Tri City Glass & Door.
- Maintain outside grounds and truck pen area for safety hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- 3-5 years of warehouse experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

The work environment will be in an office/shop/warehouse environment.
