What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Protection Apprentice position at Tri-City Group?
Tri-City Fire Protection is currently recruiting Fire Protection Apprentices for immediate openings in the Davenport, IA area. Main duties include the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of fixed extinguishing systems.
Qualified candidates will have strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, reliable means of transportation and the ability to follow directions, climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs repetitively. Previous knowledge or experience of the trade is preferred but not required. Candidates hired must complete 5 years of formal study through the NFSA apprenticeship program, attend JATC training sessions, and comply with the collective bargaining agreement.
Travel will also be required.
