Summer Camp Counselor

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer filled with adventure and learning. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for supervising campers, leading activities, and fostering their personal growth through education and play. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and a passion for childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with campers in various activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational programs.
• Educate campers on safety protocols and ensure a safe environment at all times.
• Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Assist in planning and executing daily schedules of activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development.
• Provide support and guidance to campers in their social interactions, promoting inclusivity and respect.
• Administer first aid as necessary and respond to emergencies following established protocols.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, or summer camps is preferred.
• Strong behavior management skills to handle various situations effectively.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Background in early childhood education or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.

• High school or equivalent (Required)
