About the Job:
- This role involves promoting and referring Tri City products and services to new and existing customers, while also advising them on financial solutions and opening basic deposit accounts.
- You will be responsible for managing and mitigating risk by appropriately using authority to approve exceptions for customer transactions.
- Promote cross-selling of products and services by leveraging business partners and supporting retail promotions.
- Assist team members with daily job functions, including cross-training on administrative tasks and other duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Tri City's products, services, regulations, and procedures.
- Perform all basic customer service tasks, basic account opening, and consistently process all supporting documentation at a high level.
- Create a positive customer experience during the entire customer journey, including problem resolution and assisting team members as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers while promoting Tri City products and services.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of previous banking experience or transferable knowledge.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including initiative, sensitivity, good judgment, and decision-making skills that generate positive outcomes.
