We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in third-party risk management to join our dynamic and growing Corporate Third-Party Risk Management Team. The Third Party Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for assessing the information security practices and risk posture of new and existing third party vendors as part of our Third Party Management Program. This includes processes from evaluating risks, conducting reviews, and managing the vendor database.
The Third Party Risk Management Specialist will also ensure compliance of the Banks Information Security Program through aggregate of data necessary for updates to policies and procedures and maintain appropriate mitigating control evidence within the various Information Security Risk Assessments and Business Continuity Plan.
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience.
This position is required to work on-site in our West Allis, WI Location.
Responsibilities
- Update and track Third Party Management Program; to include but not limited to:
- Working with business line owners to complete a third party risk assessment for new and existing third party reviews.
- Evaluate level of risks of new and existing third parties by conducting information security reviews including but not limited to SOC 1 and SOC 2 report evaluations.
- Input and manage data within Third Party Management database.
- Assist with discovery and documentation of information security mitigating controls related to results of various information security risk assessments.
- Assist with Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan updates and documentation of business processes and business impact as it correlates with third party risk.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within a banking environment (ex. third party management, information security, cyber security, risk management)
- Demonstrate an understanding of business processes, Information Technology controls, third party risk management, and how they interact together.
- Knowledge of cyber security control standards and regulatory requirements in a banking environment i.e. OCC, GLBA, Sarbanes-Oxley, FFIEC guidelines.
- Strong technical, analytical, and administrative skills,
- Requires good written, verbal communication skills and ability to work well independently and with others.
- Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
