Job Overview: 

The role of the Behavioral Intervention Specialist is to work with our Care Management team to advise on how to best provide support to members with behavioral needs. This is a remote position but may require occasional visits to local offices.

 

Location: Candidates should live in New York State, or in New Jersey/Connecticut close to the New York border.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as part of the Clinical Team for Person Centered Services.
  • Provide case review or audit of individuals with significant behavior issues.
  • Review Behavior Service Plans and offer relevant input.
  • Serve as a consultant in situations where behavioral intervention expertise is required.
  • Review and analyze data and trends.
  • Design, implement, and present training as needed.
  • Provide case review or audit of individuals with significant behavior issues.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings.
  • Any other duties as deemed relevant by supervisor/organization
