Purpose:
Responsible for a safe, nurturing, and inviting environment for children and their families. Assist in the instruction of preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. Meet agency-determined school readiness goals through the implementation of an established curriculum and development appropriate activities.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Required to obtain with the assistance of agency post-hire a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Prefer experience in a Head Start, daycare, or school setting.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suites & Database system
- Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
