What are the requirements?
- You must be able to commute to our office in Batesville, IN. To ensure client data is secure, all work is done in the office. No remote work.
- No college degree or experience is required. Training will be provided to new preparers.
- Be aware new preparers will earn closer to $50 per return.
- You must be interested in helping middle-income families.
- Honesty, dependability, and detail-orientation should be among your strongest traits.
What exactly will I be doing?
- Preparing federal and state returns for individuals, small businesses, and farmers.
- Meeting with clients face-to-face, or by phone to discuss their return and answer questions.
- Answering client questions and responding to IRS notices for the returns you prepare.
