Details of the role include:
Position: Mobile Fleet Technician
Wage: Starting $24-$26/hr
Hours: 40 hours, daytime shift, no weekends
Location: Customer sites surrounding Broward County area
Responsibilities: Preventative maintenance and repairs required to meet FDOT guidelines.
Qualifications: 1-3 years verifiable mixed school/hands-on experience.
Qualified technician will be responsible for performing on-site preventative maintenance and DOT inspections and repairs in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation guidelines. Duties to include preventative maintenance inspections, basic engine diagnostics and repairs, suspension repairs, transmission services, basic electrical/starting/charging system diagnostics and repairs, light body panel repairs, communicating with lead on a daily basis of any issues and all tasks completed.
Basic mechanics tool set required (5/16 to 1in)
Specialty tools supplied by employer
Driver's License required
Background check and Florida driving record check will be performed
