Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and maintaining efficient office processes. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Handle incoming calls and manage phone systems to direct inquiries appropriately.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Support therapists tasks as needed, including patient scheduling and record management.
- Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Implement time management strategies to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Submit Insurance claims, follow up with insurance companies on denied claims, provide clients with superbills as needed
- Take client copays and payments
Skills
- Proficient in computer systems with a strong understanding of office software applications.
- Experience as a medical behavioral health receptionist is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with phone systems and professional etiquette in handling calls.
- Detail-oriented with strong clerical skills to ensure accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
