Job Description
The Quality Control position works with other production staff in the Trim Shop, Roll-form Shop, Accessories Shop, and Standing Seam Warehouse to complete orders on time, accurately and of proper quality. Reviewing all orders, making sure items are picked correctly and in their correct locations, and ensuring all systems are fully followed and orders are completed timely and accurately.

Maintain training and following Standard Operating Procedures 100% of the time.
Receive the required amount of monthly training. {2.5 hours in 2024}.
Operating rhythm
Attend the Weekly Level 10 Team Meetings.
Maintain and clean your assigned equipment daily; forklift, Rollformer, and workstation.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of any obstructions.
Safety
Follow all safety procedures, equipment manuals and all required safety measures for work in a warehouse environment.
Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Quickly report accidents and injuries following all safety and emergency procedures. Note all details surrounding these events and report to Management.
Productivity
Ensure timely and accurate counts and measurements by following all procedures laid out for production and the specific requirements of each ticket.
Note when patterns of errors are present and notify Production Supervisor.
Assist with items delivered to the warehouse, noting items received and thoroughly checking all returns on Return Authorizations and Credit memos and reporting this information to the Service Defect Analyst for processing.
Note and report scrap items, miss-cut items, and damaged items daily.
Monitors Production Tickets, verify cut lengths, surveys items for damage, verify orders are complete, accurate to product specifications and color.
Identifies issues with production tickets and notifies Plant Manager via the Quality Control Checklist.
Responsible for the pulling, packaging, and shipping of any marketing literature, stock / standard samples, and display materials as it comes through email or directed by the Marketing Manager. Adhering to the established lead times based on our website dedicated to the sample program.
