What are the responsibilities and job description for the P/T Clinical Instructor - Practical Nursing Program - TEMPORARY POSITION position at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School?
REPORTS TO:Director of Practical Nursing Program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for clinical instruction and evaluation.
* Ability to work cooperatively and have the ability to demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.
* Communicate appropriately with students, peers and professional associates.
* Correlate classroom instruction to clinical experience using various instructional methods.
* Plan clinical experiences and measure student’s clinical performance. Advise students of their progress.
* Maintain records of student achievement. Write weekly anecdotal notes for each student.
* Complete mid-term and end of the term clinical evaluation.
* Submit clinical grades, evaluations and absences to the Director of the Program.
* Counsel students as to their clinical strengths and weaknesses.
* Coordinate clinical experiences with clinical personnel. Evaluate clinical affiliations with faculty.
Salary : $40
