Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Vocational High School Health Assisting Teacher to join our educational team. Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in health assisting topics, including patient care, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical ethics, and basic clinical skills. Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and practical skills, providing constructive feedback to support student growth.
Classroom and Lab Management: Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. Collaboration: Work closely with other vocational program instructors to integrate health assisting skills into broader vocational training, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practices and stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in health assisting education. Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and foster relationships with local health care facilities and organizations to support student learning and job placement.
