Salary : $30,000
TCSEA is a decentralized cooperative with 16 member districts which are rural but situated within 30 minute of Bloomington, Illinois. All 16 member districts utilize multi-tiered systems of support and many of our Social Workers are heavily involved with social emotional interventions at the school and county level. All sit on district problem solving teams. Interns will be assigned to staff Social Worker(s) to work collaboratively to meet the needs of the developing Social Worker Intern. Interns are compensated at $30,000 per year. We also pay for our staff to attend out of district trainings, though many are available within the cooperative. Our Social Workers meet monthly as a team to work on numerous projects including developing policies for the delivery of Social Work services. This gives the intern the opportunity to become part of a community of professionals. New Staff are also encouraged, and given the opportunity, to observe multiple programs within the communities to familiarize themselves with the community resources available within our 16 member districts.
Qualified applicants should have completed a social work program from an accredited school.
