Who You Are: The CCMA Instructor will provide quality instruction to adult and/or high school students through both classroom and clinical experiences in the clinic/medical office setting. We are looking for an experienced nurse who has a passion for healthcare and a willingness to invest in others to help them become the best version of themselves.
What You’ll Possess
Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of:
- Current Registered Nurse License preferred Licensed Practical Nurse required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in patient care.
- Must be fluent in basic computer and software applications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
What You’ll Do
Essential Functions:
- Develop and Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the curriculum goals as well as the individual needs of each student in the following areas:
- Basic Medical Assisting skills CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)
- Healthcare Provider CPR - BLS
- CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) Certification Prep
- Coordinate and evaluate clinical experiences for students.
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Maintains confidential, accurate, and comprehensive records of students (attendance and skills assessments).
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Adjunct: Scheduling is flexible, hours could be daytime, evening, or weekend, approximately 12-30 Hours per Week.
Salary: $30/hour
