We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences who are committed to excellence in education.Job Purpose: TCTC’s Oconee Campus, located in Westminster South Carolina, is searching for a full-time administrative support and building operations manager. This person manages student intake services, supports the operation and programming of the campus, and works collaboratively with campus partners and external partners to meet the needs of the campus community.The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent customer service skills, effective self-management skills, and the ability to set priorities while managing multiple tasks and processes. They must also demonstrate the ability to function calmly and effectively in a fast-paced educational environment and multi-task in response to inquiries for information and assistance.Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of standard office software and equipment is required. This person must be able to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the institution. They must also have a working knowledge of standard budgetary practices and state procurement procedures.Job Duties Include: OPERATIONS: Assist with financial planning, budget creation, and day-to-day fiscal management and reporting. Coordinate all campus procurement processes and ensures compliance with regulations and practices. Demonstrate knowledge of and leadership in campus operations by interpreting and applying policies, procedures and practices to ensure campus compliance. Lead the team in the absence of the campus director.ADMINISTRATIVE: Provides administrative and program support to the Campus Director, campus leaders, student services staff, and faculty through effective use of student data applications, scheduling software, documentation services, and data acquisition/management. Develops and maintains campus operational documentation to promote effective staff training, efficient campus operations, and consistent communication with campus community. Provide and/or supervise primary information services and front desk operations by responding to in-person, phone, email and other written requests for information and assistance in a timely and professional manner. Hire and train part-time staff and maintain a comprehensive staffing schedule for information desk operations, ensuring excellent cross-departmental communications.PHYSICAL RESOURCES: Manage all physical campus resources to ensure efficient and effective operations and utilization. Collaborate with Campus Police, Facilities, IT, Custodial, Learning Commons, Student Development and other support functions to provide a safe, inviting, and productive learning environment. Conduct regular inspections of the campus grounds and facilities and submit/monitor service requests. Coordinate with Registrar's Office, CCE, Administrative Services and external groups for scheduling classrooms and/or multi-purpose spaces as needed. Provide support for special events and initiatives that further educational opportunity, enhance quality of life, and/or promote community development and public service.STUDENT SUPPORT: Provide accurate information and assist prospective and current students with appropriate actions for admissions, assessments, financial aid, registration, student records, billing/payments and other intake and transition services. Ensure accurate, timely and confidential processing of all forms and related documentation to facilitate successful student enrollment and academic progress. Collaborate with Campus Director to coordinate academic and student support services on the community campuses. Work closely with student development staff in providing student activities, workshops, counseling appointments, referrals and other developmental opportunities. Assist with student accommodation testing and confirm testing requirements are met.OTHER: Performs other duties as assigned.

A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
