Job Summary:
Tri-County Technical College is seeking a part-time Career Resource Coordinator who will be dedicated to student success and meeting the diverse needs of our students and community. Reporting to the Director of Career and Employability Resources, this position will be responsible for providing both prospective and enrolled students, as well as graduates, with career development guidance through referrals to career resources and programs.
Responsibilities:- Student Support & Case Management: Serves as the front-line service provider through incoming calls, student walk-ins, and scheduled appointments with the Career and Employability Resources office. Utilizes a comprehensive case management approach to track referrals, monitor progress, and maintain case notes. Connects students with internal and external resources to support their challenges.
- Career Resources & Readiness: Supports students in all academic divisions and Corporate and Community Education programs by providing career readiness resources and services, including self-assessments, industry research, job search skills, resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills, and career fair preparation to develop workplace skills that align with employer needs.
- Student Programming & Collaboration: Collaborates with Career and Employability resources team to identify, define, and meet student career planning needs, goals, and objectives. Provides leadership in designing recruiting, orientation, training and evaluation for up the three student employees hired through the work-study program. Develops or supports resources for career-related presentations to students and community groups. Assists in designing and implementing resources that support overall student growth, wellness, and accessibility. Evaluates programs and services, assesses student outcomes, and implements improvements based on data-driven decisions.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
- Associate's degree and experience in student support services or related work.
- Strong technology skills and familiarity with career development tools and resources.
- Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of standard office software and equipment.
- Ability to lift 20-25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and experience in career counseling, student support services, or related work.
- Demonstrated understanding of whole-student development, career counseling, student programming, and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
