Job Responsibilities
The Tri-County Technical College Comprehensive Studies Department is seeking a highly skilled, innovative College Skills instructor who will be responsible for teaching the college and career readiness course COL 135 – Introduction to Adult Social Interactions. This course provides an overview of social skills necessary for navigating personal and professional interactions. Applicants should possess a desire to work in a collaborative student-centered environment focused on learning and success for neurodiverse populations. Reporting to the Comprehensive Studies Department Head, the successful candidates will teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the course. COL 135 will be held in person on the Pendleton Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:10 am – 12:35 pm.
The Introduction to Adult Social Interactions Adjunct role is a part-time employment role. The Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at our Pendleton campus beginning August 11th, 2025.Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education, Multi-Categorical, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field.
Experience working with neurodiverse populations.
