Job Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the I-BEST Director, the Student Support Generalist will serve as a primary point of contact for active and prospective I-BEST students, as well as I-BEST alumni. The successful candidate will be dedicated to supporting the I-BEST program in regards to helping to recruit, engage, and support students in a variety of ways. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and staff; implement existing programs and activities that will benefit the campus community; provide initial responses related to student needs, maintain confidential and private student information; and demonstrate the ability to work professionally.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative support as needed to I-BEST staff and faculty.
- Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and orientation of new students.
- Greeting visitors to suite, answering and directing phone calls to relevant staff
- Inventory and maintain organization of I-BEST resources and materials as needed
- Assistance in budgeting
- Data Entry/Tracking services -Storing, organizing and managing files
The successful candidate will work primarily at either the Pendleton campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Administrative Office Technology or a related field is preferred
