The primary responsibility of a Digital Implant Specialist is to meet or exceed TRI Dental Implant sales objectives by developing profitable relationships with targeted dental practices and the dental community at large. The Digital Implant Specialist is responsible for increasing sales and customer satisfaction within an assigned geographic area. This requires an ability to build relationships with customers, proactively identify the solutions they need, and think commercially. Frequent travel (including overnight travel); will vary depending upon the specific territory.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
§ Drive profitable sales growth and maximize sales revenue within a defined territory by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects through the sale of Implant, Restorative and digital product lines
§ Create an unparalleled customer experience by acting as a strategic business partner to existing customers within the defined territory by focusing on customers’ growth goals and TRI Dental Implants can help them achieve these goals
§ Achieve new business targets by proactively identifying, targeting and converting prospect accounts and new business with dentists and oral surgeons in the defined territory
§ Prepare and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts and a sales promotion activity budget. Assess current performance and forecast when change is necessary
§ Collaborate with Sales Operations, Marketing, Director of Clinical affairs to support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives
§ Attend and represent TRI Dental Implants at customer events as required, including but not limited to regional events and national trade shows
§ Regular use of all sales tools, such as Hubspot, Showpad, to effectively plan and measure sales activities against territory’s current customer base and prospective customers. Routinely run reports to align trends, customer needs, and opportunities with territory business strategy. All employees with customer facing interactions are required to log quality activities with every TRI Dental Implants customer and prospect
§ Take full ownership for the territory performance and provide monthly updates to sales manager (monthly reporting, pipeline management reports, etc.)
§ Assesses market competition by comparing the company’s products to competitors products
§ Preparing return-on-investment analyses with current brands compared to workflow advantages with the Matrix Dental Implant system
§ Analyze customers digital business needs and opportunities and plan with customer ways to increase business flow and growing their implant business with digital workflows (Photogrammetry, Scan Bridge, 3D printing, abutment reductions
§ Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thorough leaders. Utilize these relationships to expand market share
§ Study and keep informed of company policies, new technologies, dental implant new product releases of competition, and other general information as necessary.
§ Provides weekly, monthly, quarterly projections of revenue
§ Complete regional business plans, sales forecasts, and administer customer report management
§ Achieve 100% of annual sales plan
§ Expense guideline management
§ Qualifications:
§ Bachelors degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
§ Proven track record of blowing out sales objectives
§ At least 5 years of documented sales experience
§ Dental, Lab or medical device experience preferred but not required
§ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dotted line environment
§ High level of knowledge in digital dentistry arena and pricing practices, selling and negotiating
§ Effective leadership and executive level relationship building skills
§ Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organizational skills
§ Strong teamwork skills, especially in a cross functional team environment.
§ Extensive travel required.
