Key Responsibilities :
ServiceNow Security Architecture & Implementation
Design and implement ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) solutions, including Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Incident Response (SIR), and Threat Intelligence (TI).
Architect and deploy Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions within ServiceNow, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
Develop and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and security permissions to enforce least privilege access.
Ensure security policies and controls are implemented within ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
Security Integration & Automation
Integrate ServiceNow with external SIEM, IAM, and SOAR tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Okta, CyberArk, and Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR.
Develop automated workflows for security incident response, remediation, and compliance reporting.
Utilize ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and APIs to streamline security operations.
Security Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure ServiceNow security configurations align with industry frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and FedRAMP.
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and security reviews within ServiceNow GRC to maintain compliance.
Implement data protection, encryption, and privacy controls to safeguard sensitive information.
Monitoring & Incident Response
Support security monitoring and logging within ServiceNow to detect and respond to threats effectively.
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with SOC, IT Security, and Risk teams to enhance incident response capabilities.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years focused on Security Operations (SecOps), GRC, or Security Architecture.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps), GRC, and ITSM modules.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ACLs, RBAC, and security best practices.
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with SIEM, IAM, and security orchestration platforms.
Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory compliance (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, MFA, and PAM.
ServiceNow certifications (CIS-Security Operations, CIS-GRC, or Certified Application Developer) preferred.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, ITAM, or IRM.
Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a security-first mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
