Title: System Analyst Duration: 15 Months Location: North Chesterfield, VA
Note: This is an On-site role.
Job Description:
- Virginia State Police (VSP)is looking for a Systems Analyst with 10 years of experience to lead go-live planning and coordination for the Criminal and Rap Back Information System (CRIS) project and Virginia Sex Offender Management System(VSOMS).
The incumbent will serve as the Team Leader for a go-live planning and coordination team and will lead all aspects of the implementation of CRIS Release 1,2, &3 and VSOMS upgrades 2025 and2026.
The incumbent will collaborate with CRIS suppliers, interface partners, the VSP Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Information Technology(IT) Divisions on testing and implementation activities.
Required Skills:
- experience developing and executing system test and implementation plans

self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers
proficient in Organizational Change Management
experience implementing cloud-hosted Software As A Service(SaaS) solutions
ability to manage security access and user profile management
ability to work collaboratively with various groups within VSP and VSP vendors to ensure requirements are vetted and documented
ability to analyze functional/nonfunctional system requirements
possess excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate with internal customers in nontechnical terms
be proficient with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
be proficient in creating business and system requirements
