Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional primary care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, while fostering a compassionate and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and vaccinations.
-Provide urgent care/walk-in care for sick patients
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including physical exams and ordering lab tests when necessary.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Prescribe medications and order medical equipment as needed.
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and catheter care.
- Utilize On Site Xray and Lab Services for walk in patients
- Conduct utilization reviews to ensure that patients receive the most appropriate and cost-effective care.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in internal medicine and maintain a focus on preventive care.
- Educate patients and their families about healthy habits, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- A current certification in advanced practice nursing, such as the ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Experience in urgent care is preferred
- Experience in providing infant care and internal medicine services is also preferred.
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills and experience with utilization review.
- Ability to perform minor surgical procedures, including suturing and catheter care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing patient-centered care and staying current with the latest advancements in primary care.

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
