1-3 years’ experience in accounting practices or Accounting DegreePreferable experience in medical accounting practicesSkills / Knowledge Required :
Strong attention to detailProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)Excellent organizational skillsNumerical accuracyBasic understanding of accounting principlesGood communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Essential Functions & Responsibilities :
Data entry : Entering financial transactions into accounting software, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.Accounts payable / receivable : Processing invoices from vendors, sending miscellaneous invoices to clients, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate balances.Payroll processing : Assisting with payroll calculations and data entry as directed.Financial reporting : Helping to prepare financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.File maintenance : Organizing and maintaining accounting documents and records.General ledger updates : Posting transactions to the general ledger as directed.Budgeting support : Assisting with budget preparation and tracking.Customer interaction : Responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.Compliance checks : Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.TEAM DUTIES
