Tri-National, Inc., a fast-growing, truck load carrier in a JIT environment, headquartered in St. Charles, MO, is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Sales Team as a Sales Representative. TNI is looking for individuals who possess prior knowledge of the Transportation/Trucking industry, supply chain industry, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and willing to travel up to 25%. TNI has dedicated itself to providing seamless service for the trading partners in Mexico, US, and Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Director of Sales and Business Development on industry needs
- Research and identify potential customers
- Effectively communicate our business to current and potential customers throughout Mexico, the US Midwest Region, and Canada
- Demonstrate the company’s product in a positive and mutually beneficial way to customers
- Assist with customer bids and marketing materials
- Evaluate and process RFPs & RFQs
- Travel up to 25%
- Assist with other requests made of the Sales Department
Qualifications and Skills
- Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Transportation industry & JIT Freight
- Prior knowledge of the Logistics and Supply Chain Operations.
- 2 years of Sales experience
- Must possess fluency in English and Spanish.
- Prior experience within NAFTA
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Proficient at Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, a plus
