Description

 An opportunity has  opened up to grow with Tri-National as Director of Operations/Customer  Service! You would direct the day-to-day operations and customer  service, communicate with driver concerns/request and work closely with  the Fleet Managers and Area Managers. Be able to direct in a positive  and professional demeanor while presenting a positive attitude. Are you  eager to advance with TNi and showcase your interpersonal and analytical  skills?


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee and handle operational and customer service department issues.
  • Track daily mileage of the drivers.
  • New business start up calls with customers.
  • Assist in recruiting of new operation positions.
  • Termination of employees when needed.
  • Handle high level complaints from drivers and customers.
  • Audit drivers boards of the Fleet Managers.
  • Direct the operations and customer service personnel.
  • Travel 25%.

Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 3 years of management experience
  • Experience in the Transportation/Trucking Industry
  • Experience in OTR transportation, preferred
  • Experience with cross border freight, a plus
  • Looking  for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent  organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and  prioritize
  • Must possess good management, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Possess proficient computer and phone skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook and innovative AS400
