The Customer Service Assistant is the friendly face of Tri-Pac interfacing between our customers and the Production Department. He/she builds a solid relationship with the customer, ensuring open communication and establishing a solid foundation of trust. The Customer Service Assistant works closely with Tri-Pac’s Production Department to ensure products are scheduled for production keeping in mind the customer’s due date, product verification & release, run rates and staffing. Attention to detail and multi-tasking are skills that are imperative to ensure smooth production, as well as a flexible can-do attitude.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring components and chemicals are available for scheduling “greening”.
- Work with the Purchasing, Quality & Compounding Teams to ensure components and chemicals arrive as scheduled and are released prior to scheduled production.
- Follow up with the procurement and logistics coordinator team regarding components and chemicals ETA.
- Work with shipping team to schedule shipment.
- Collaborate with the Production and Quality Teams to release finished goods and Batch Packets prior to shipment.
- Close all production orders when complete.
- Run De-stage and Scrap reports for customer owned components.
- Assist in entering SAP orders and creating production orders when required.
- Follow up SAP transactions for accuracy.
- Release production orders to the line.
- Report on allocation.
- Review stock locations and bring up respective team members.
- Scanning, filing of customers POs.
- Fill out traveler as needed.
- Assist in other inter-department activities as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in Excel and Microsoft Office SAP a plus
- Great written and verbal communication skills
