Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including supervising teams, providing excellent customer service, and performing repairs. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
As a mobile home cooperative, we try to keep all maintenance work inhouse. :landscaping and pride in your work is important to this position. You will interact with residents on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable with hands-on general maintenance abilities and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Water and sewer leak repair
- Overall knowledge of mobile home parks is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Property maintenance experience
- Have the ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs, unassisted
- Work efficiently under minimum supervision
- Promote positive, proactive resident relations
- Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
- Snow plowing experience
- Able to become DOT certified
Duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Grounds inspection, maintenance and cleanup of common areas.
- Conduct yearly lot inspections on all mobile home lots.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Landscaping tasks such as mowing, leaf pick up, trimming over grown green spaces, and snow plowing.
- Work with subcontractors
- Water meter installations
- Work a rotating on call shift.
