Tri-Plastics is a Rigid Polyurethane Foam company located in Southern Indiana, primarily serving the marine industry. We specialize in manufacturing parts that enhance the aesthetic appeal of boat interiors. With decades of experience, Tri-Plastics has products that are highly regarded. We are currently seeking a hands-on Administrative Assistant to join our production team and contribute to the continued success of our operations.
Your Role:
This is a key position that combines administrative support, shipping coordination, procurement and receiving. You’ll be involved in many aspects of the day-to-day operations, making sure materials flow in and out efficiently and paperwork stays on track. We're looking for an organized, proactive person who likes to make things run smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate daily shipping (prepare labels, book carriers, track deliveries).
- Manage receiving (log incoming goods, verify against purchase orders).
- Handle procurement tasks (place orders with suppliers, track stock levels).
- Provide general administrative support (filing, data entry, reports).
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable with basic computer systems (Excel, email, ERP systems a plus).
- Experience in shipping/receiving or purchasing is an asset.
- Able to multitask and follow through on deadlines.
- Friendly and professional communication style.
- Bi-Lingual (English-Spanish) is a plus.
