Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Arizona as a Disclosure Specialist.

Position Highlights: The Disclosure Specialist is responsible for preparing initial loan disclosures and revised loan disclosures in a timely and compliant manner according to all State and Federal regulatory requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute the initial disclosure package in accordance with RESPA & TILA standards
• Run compliance engine and ensure all applicable errors or failures are resolved
• Monitor reports daily for re-disclosures in accordance with RESPA & TILA standards
• Generate revised loan disclosures for applicable change of circumstance requests, ensuring fee changes that are required/allowable are redisclosed in a compliant manner
• Develop a working knowledge fo Federal and multi-State laws and agency disclosure guidelines affecting residential mortgage originations: TILA, REG Z, RESPA, ECOA, FACTA, FCRA, MDIA, BSA/AML and HMDA
• Develop thorough understanding of company’s loan origination system (Encompass)
• Examine disclosures for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Validate fess disclosed on the Loan Estimate
• Provide timely delivery of disclosure packages and track receipt by borrower(s)
• Communicate (verbally and written) with origination team to provide feedback and status updates
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of mortgage related experience to include Loan Processing Assistant, Loan Processor, specific experience disclosing loans preferred
• Familiar with mortgage loan documents
• Familiar with loan products and allowable fee requirements, to include FHA, VA and Conventional
• Experience with loan origination systems, Encompass a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft products to include Excel and Word
