Position Summary :

The Heavy Equipment Operator at Tri Scapes plays a vital role in supporting public works projects focused on road repair, maintenance, and construction. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery to ensure high-quality results that meet client and community standards. Operators are expected to uphold Tri Scapes' commitment to excellence, safety, and professionalism in every project undertaken.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate heavy equipment such as Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Loaders, and various road paving equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform pre-op checks and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Assist in the repair, maintenance, and construction of roads, sidewalks, storm drains, and other public infrastructure.
• Adhere to company safety standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate safely and efficiently with coworkers and supervisors to ensure all jobs and work orders are completed in a safe, and timely manner.
• Inspect, identify, and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or any other issues promptly.
• Assist in general labor when needed to complete work orders and jobs to the customer's standard.
