Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers, ensuring quality control throughout all phases of construction.
- Utilize project management software such as Fieldwire for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and managing contracts effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Implement solutions for any issues that arise during the construction process to maintain project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities on-site, including labor hours and materials used.
- Manage multiple crews
Requirements
All of these requirements are preferred knowledge but we will train the right candidate
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Fieldwire is preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting practices and contract management is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to pipeline construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards is highly desirable.
- Able to run Topcon, Trimble & Leica GPS equipment.
4 -5 years minimum experience
