Description
TRISTAR is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our government customer in Bloomington, IN
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies to build, maintain, and enhance pipelines and containers using Kubernetes while supporting model-based engineering
- Play a key role in performing testing, maintaining infrastructure, and supporting the development lifecycle
Position Responsibilities :
Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processesManage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments for various applicationsSupport model-based engineering projects by providing infrastructure solutions and automation toolsWork within the RDT&E network to ensure secure and effective software development and testingPerform thorough testing of environments to ensure stability and performanceCollaborate with development and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve system performanceUse Jira for ticketing, issue tracking, and project management to ensure smooth and organized workflowsMaintain and monitor infrastructure supporting software development, ensuring security, scalability, and performanceRequirements
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes and container orchestrationExpertise in model-based engineering workflows and methodologiesExperience building and managing CI / CD pipelines for software developmentStrong experience working within RDT&E environments or similarProficient in using Jira for project and issue managementKnowledge of infrastructure management, system monitoring, and performance testingExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challengesAbility to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teamsMust be a US CitizenAn Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain oneEducation and Certification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMust have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start dateAbout TRISTAR
