What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Maintenance Technician position at Tri Star Metals, LLC?
The Lead Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with the planning and preparation of projects/major repairs, orient and train new and current maintenance personnel, review the work of maintenance employees, and assist technicians as necessary. Additionally, this position will perform highly diversified tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma, technical college preferred.
2. 2 years Lead Maintenance Tech Experience.
3. Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
4. 6 years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Advanced electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, fabrication and industrial skills.
5. Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
Essential Functions
1.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assign work to maintenance department employees across 3 shifts
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and facilities equipment
Assist other department personnel in troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Project work to include panel building, conduit bending and installation, pipe fitting, fabrication, rigging, etc.
Preventive Maintenance on plant equipment
Work with Maintenance Planner to continue development of Preventive Maintenance program
Training of department personnel (typically on the job type training).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
