What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Field Service Technician entry level position at Tri-State Biomedical, Inc?
Our team is looking to hire a full-time apprentice who is hardworking and motivated to work with experienced Mechanical Field Service technicians. The experienced technicians will mentor and train you to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment. Service is performed on-site and on-demand, as required by customers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting technicians with various mechanical tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills including electrical, plumbing and mechanical troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
Experience is a plus. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Competitive pay based on skills and experience.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in labor-intensive roles with a mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills is preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred
- Experience in building maintenance or an education in trades a plus
- Beginner proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
Requirements

- Experience with hand tools and power tools is required
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 50 lbs.
